Manuela Zimmer is working in the experimental biomechanics group at the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Dynamics in Aerospace Engineering, University of Stuttgart. She started her PhD in May 2021 after graduating from the medical engineering program at University of Stuttgart (M.Sc. and B.Sc.) and University of Tübingen (B.Sc.). Her research focuses on the estimation of skeletal muscle passive and active forces in vivo using both experimental and computational approaches.
